Used predominantly for commercial applications, this stainless steel cover for Termiwatch stations is essential when stations need to be positioned in paved or concreted areas.

This cover consists of a 100mm diameter stainless steel weatherproof cap under which lies an 85mm diameter rubber seal that holds the cover in place in the concrete. An 82mm hole is cut through the concrete for the insertion of the Termiwatch station (Note: the clear cover of the station needs to be removed prior to insertion). Once the station is in situ in the hole, the stainless steel cover with it’s attached rubber seal, is pushed into the hole in the concrete to cover and seal the unit until it’s next inspection.

The rubber seal being 45mm thick and having a diameter slightly larger than the cut hole, has been designed to tightly fit into the hole in the concrete or paver. At inspection times, the stainless steel cover can be easily lifted of by levering with a screwdriver for example.

It’s extremely important that an inspection schedule be drawn up and followed an these inspections are performed every 2 months as termite damage, particularly in commercial environments, can lead to costs being in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Note that we have a mechanical drill rig specially set up for drilling holes, to the required diameter / depth in concrete, pavers, slabs etc for commercial applications….please contact us if you require this service.
